On the 8th of March the Lowup crew will be sharing the decks with global bass heavyweight Dubbel Dutch . This Austin, Texas resident’s output on fine labels like Hemlock, Palms Out, Dutty Artz , Mixpak and Unknown To The Unknown pairs a high production standard to a myriad of influences from all over the world (UK funky, soca, grime, dancehall, kuduro, guarachero, bounce, b’more and other booty shaking business).
With seminal originals like No Futuro, Throwback, Pulso, Self Help Riddim and Dip So and ditto remixes for Vybz Kartel, Aidonia, Lloyd, Kes The Band and Leftside & T.I., DUBBEL DUTCH has already been a part of the Lowup experience for a couple of years now so we are very happy to finally have him with us in physical form.
As we initially booked a venue for a party without international headliner – it happens to be DJ Mellow’s birthday that day – there will be limited capacity. Also no presale and no guestlist so it’s first come, first served. We start at 11.
