Qwasa Qwasa (Levi Adriaenssens) started producing when he was 14 and covered basically every genre you couldthink of.
From dubstep to house to beats and now to, well who the fuck knows whatitis?
Having reached thee age of 20 he found a nice blend of African, Latin and Asian vibes combined with electronics, providing you the perfect cocktail to every occasion. With his first EP in the starting blocks at Lowup records, 2018 is bound to be an exciting year for Qwasa Qwasa.
As a DJ he tries to live up to this musical cocktail by keeping an open mind and not sticking to any genres. You can expect a nightfilled with Jersey club tumbling into Soukous music switching up to some Hip Hop and closing with some Salsa heat. Whether you want a laid back set for a groovy afternoon or some heavy bangers at 3 A.M. Qwasa Qwasa will provide it all.
Qwasa Qwasa puts himself on the map with his first EP:”C’est quoi ça?”
Night Shop starts with an enchanting flute and results in a beautifully crafted earworm evoking images of Africa, the Far East and a sweaty club. Likembés, African chants and an efficient beat make up the ingredients of Simba. Kiss Me is bold, cheeky and exhibits a keen sense of humor.
