MO LAUDI BIO

South African native Mo Laudi is a DJ, MC and producer who has collaborated with the Secousse posse (Radioclit/The Very Best), Damon Albarn, Kano, Hard-Fi and Flea amongst many others. Setting up dj residencies in London and Paris as far back as 2000 and having performed in over 30 countries since, he is one of the true footsoldiers of kwaito and South African house music in general. These days his approach is more eclectic, pulling in influences from other African genres like kuduro and azonto as well as from the plethora of current bass music styles. His appearance at Lowup comes shortly after a tour of East African capitals so he is bound to present us with some sweet exclusives!
